OK, well 10/22 day last week got me to get my KIDD out and do some quick ammo testing. Results are below. Please feel free to check my math but I believe this is correct. Edit: 50yd, bench with bipod and rear bag, 66* with about 4mph ESE wind. Project Title Group Ammunition Distance Hole...
Love the stock, the fit is great and the feel is much more like a centerfire. As mentioned earlier in the thread the KIDD was in a Titan and was great but this stock is a whole different feel. couple of quick 6x5's 50yd, wind is a little gusty, chilly in the 40's
I like your style there with the spiral cut barrel. This is the same KIDD rifle above in the VictorCo Titan before being dropped in the McMillan. The Titan now has a Feddersen receiver/barrel combo and KIDD trigger. I thought I had pictures of it somewhere, but will have to do some searching to...
another October 22 to appreciate the little rimfire semi-auto that gets lot's of love and at times an equal amount of hate. Couple of pics of some of the 10/22 rifles at our house. #1) KIDD receiver, barrel, two-stage trigger. McMillan stock, currently wearing an Athlon Ares ETR. #2)...
I think the concern is that he had a smith/armorer pull the barrel nut and the online videos, pictures and ruger schematic show the wrench flats facing the receiver. I believe BRRBshooter is wanting to verify orientation before installing, but I will let him respond to that. Below is attached...
Agreed, and on this rifle it will only go on one way as the threads are not all the way through the barrel nut. Should have cropped the photos, but was kind of a quick go pull it apart thing... Hope this helps
I do not have pics of mine but I do remember it being opposite all of the early videos, pictures or the ruger schematic for the rifle. I do believe my wrench flats were away from the receiver.
I picked up rimfire as an alternative to a short distance club range that didn't allow me to stretch out my CF rifles and they got boring after working up loads and what-not. Just didn't have much to do with them beyond hunting and short-distance shooting. Thought everyone needs a 10/22 and it...
Just some feedback/info from my experience with the RPRR. Mine currently has a GM 16" replacement barrel, it shoots on average with CCI SV and SKRM around MOA at 50yd and creeps a little further outside of that at 100yd. I say around MOA as for the average of all my recorded shooting on paper (I...
I had to hunt for a shorter takedown bolt in my drawer of parts. I think the one I used was a volquartson but I would just cut the bolt down a bit if I didn't have extras to go through. This was with a KIDD 10/22
Quick pic of the girlfriends 10/22. Some stock paint, trigger work and scope change for her in hopes for her shooting in NRL22. When she is happy and wants to shoot it works in my favor, so definitely worth the effort. Added since a cheek riser and flush cups. And while I am at it, may as...
Very happy with the service and pricing I received. And I really appreciate that he accommodated a less than simple transaction from my side. Anyone looking at Athlon owes it to themselves to give him a call.
Just got off the phone with Doug placing an order for one. He pointed me to the review as I spoke with him. Great review with a lot of good info on the scope, I believe this will be the first of a few of these scopes I purchase.
Mine is not in factory form, but I also mod the girlfriend's rifle and the kid's rifles. I like to tinker and mod stuff. The RPRR can be frustrating but I believe it can be an MOA rifle that is a fun plinker, range toy and even competitive in NRL22 and other precision rimfire disciplines based...
