    Internal volume does contribute to over all suppression, but it has more to do with how you manage the gas while it is in the suppressor. I have see a suppressor with only 2 baffles achieve very impressive db levels.

    TDS Specter has a 1" reflex section and only ads 4" to the end of a barrel. Picture below is on a 10.5" barrel. We like large diameter suppressors because it gives us a lot more room to set up a reflex section and extra room to get the majority of the gas off the center line.

    This is a older prototype in aluminum that was cut up for inspection following extensive testing. For cleaning, we recommend sending it back to us. We have found that they do not get much carbon build up other than a light coat because the design keeps the gases moving.
