    That's correct, by pushing then locking the rings to the rail, will prevent the scope & rings from sliding forward from the recoil when the rifle is fired. And that will prevent or definitely illuminate if not minimize any the scope from being zeroed.

    Yes, I ordered mine thru Europtics in PA. I ordered mine with the optional multiple turn turrets with the rotation counter. Cost me plenty in excess of $8000. Put.it on layaway, but need to be paid in full by end of year I still had it Cerakote it with a camo pattern.
