Mine didn’t clock in the exact same spot either, but the go/no-go gauges still checked out.

For anyone wondering about their old barrels from a Nuke or Archimedes, here is some anecdotal evidence. It also acted the same with a savage 308 barrel in the same configuration.

7 SAUM with Hawkins Hunter Metal and mag. Also works with Accurate 7rd WSM mags.

Edited for clarity: the same is not true for the SA CDG with Hawkins hunter. In a manners LRH it fits together seamlessly with no modification for the trigger hanger. The magazine itself was a tight (very) fit, but runs flawlessly. After a very slight filing of the mag catch is perfect. However...

Probably because preferred placed a large order on day one.

No they don’t. The Zeus has an integral rail. Their ultra-lights are awesome though

Thanks so much for the update. We exclusively run Hawkins…that being said, would it be possible to provide what and how much needs to be trimmed/milled off the Hawkins for clearance so I can get ahead of the game? Thanks either way!
