Finally made some improvements to the builder - actually recoded all of it and added more builders and option to register as a user (when logged in, you can save those labels). Looks awesome when printed on vinyl btw :)

I've added option for fourth revolution band. Like with the third, its default height (ratio) is set to 0, so you need to adjust the ratios (sum = 1.00) to make it work properly.

    Turret "stickers"

I've had a label on for a few months - normal paper with Scotch tape wrapped around it. I guess it depends on the weather, how often you adjust, how often you change loads, how often you play with some other color scheme you want to test ;)

    Turret "stickers"

It shouldn't be too hard for me to add a 4th revolution band to the generator. I'll find some time to do it in the weekend.

Thanks :) The png created is very high resolution and intended for printing in 600dpi, which will correspond to your turret measurements. Paint and most programs for Windows won”t respect the dpi settings. Untill I get the time to male some upgrades to the tool, a proven workaround is to open...

    Turret "stickers"

I think I understand - I'm wondering if switching between wind speed and distances wouldn't be a better idea making room for more distances (have "columns" for different wind speeds, and various distances within those)? I've just implemented options for setting widths and colors for "partial...

    Turret "stickers"

Thanks a lot! I think I can make the suggested options quite easily. Will find some time to do it in a day or two. I’m working on windage label creation also, so any suggestions on how they should work are appreciated as well.

Rifle Scopes Homemade ballistic drop turrets! Save yourself $$

I'm using normal paper - and scotch tape around it. You could probably print it on some expensive waterproof type of "paper" made for ink jet and laser printers.

Rifle Scopes Homemade ballistic drop turrets! Save yourself $$

Basically you just need to measure your turret diameter and height with a caliper and plot it in (it only accepts mm right now, will make support for inches some day soon). I've divided the label/turret in 4 "bands". The lower one is the "units" band (has markings for each click and each full...

Rifle Scopes Homemade ballistic drop turrets! Save yourself $$

Great post. Something almost as cheap - but looking a lot better (requires a printer, scissors and some scotch tape): I've hacked together a small tool at http://turretlabels.com Feedback and ideas appreciated :)

I know this is an old thread - and hope nobody will feel I'm hijacking it. I've hacked together a small tool to easily create turret labels: http://turretlabels.com Feedback and ideas are welcomed
