Sanded the sides of magazine to take off any high spots so there was no interference with the stock. Slightly reduced the circumference of the magazine screw head that fits into the receiver "socket" as it had an overly tight fit.
I did a little fitting of the magazine and it now drops out of rifle like it should. Notice in the video where I operate the magazine release several times...if your magazine doesn't freely move away from the front of magazine well it will not drop out on its own.
As stated earlier function testing it mine would jam as shown in the pictures I posted on the last round every time....and with any ammo I tried so it isn't ammo related. Ruger magazines feed every thing I tried just fine. Today I released the Bergara magazine spring and turned the spring nut...
yes it is...have not shot it for accuracy yet...just for function and it has a problem with the last round on every magazine jamming...seems to be a magazine problem as I can put any of my Ruger magazines in and there is no problem...I'll be calling Bergara Customer Service. Yes the Bergara...
Does the carbon fiber barrel actually have the v-block installed? The chrome moly steel barrel doesn't...there's no groove cut in the barrel to even use the v-block., The receiver is backwards compatible to replace the threaded in Bergara barrel with 10/22 stye barrels using the v-block.
I just picked up a Bergara BXR 001 for $499 and have not had it to the range yet. Couple of questions if any knows the answers. 1. the stock has matching dimples on either side...indicating a possibility of an add on adjustable cheek riser??? 2. the rear of receiver has some drilled holes...
Another thing with twist rates is generally you need a faster twist for heavier bullets. So a 1 in 9 twist would not be a recommended twist for the lighter weight stinger. I think you misunderstood what you read on GM. They have a stinger chambered barrel but is in a 1 in 18 twist. The 1 in...
got my two at Grand Forks ND and there was another one 60 miles away but I let it go you'll have to call to other Walmarts near you to see if they carry the Mini-14 aggressive pricing went on select bolt guns today too...best to go to the store and have them scan the barcode as some stores may...
I picked up the last two remaining Ruger Mini-14 Ranch rifles at my local Walmart stores at $399 each early this morning.....unbelievable deal. One had a 582 serial number prefix and the other a 583 prefix hence the difference in packaging. Uploaded at Snapagogo.com
Very disappointed in the gun I received. Had to send it in for warranty repair which they said could take 3 weeks. Oversized bore in receiver for the barrel causing extreme barrel droop. Rear iron sight could not be adjusted low enough to get sighted in at 25 yards and with a scope mounted...
I didn't get a response to my initial online form questions so called CS this morning. The nice lady told me that the 25 to 30 in/lbs was correct but couldn't answer my other questions so I asked if there was tech familiar with this gun I could talk to. All techs were busy so she said one of...
flier problems too Submitted an online form to CS just before the 4th asking which torque setting is correct as I saw your post on another forum. I also questioned a fix for an ill fitting magazine that causes damage to bullet upon chambering and where is the receiver supposed to bed down on...
