I'm a big fan of JP's. I think you're going to be pleased with your purchase. I always recommend JP if someone is looking for something to shoot for a generation and replace consumables like barrels and such. As far as folks ho-humming on things they don't perceive to be "battle worthy", knowing...
Man, if y'all think a global freak out about some virus is bad at causing delays, then adding shipping across borders involving 2 governments playing nice maybe you should wait for a suppressor. At least with the suppressor the can is at the dealer for the whole 6-12 months with you having no...
Yep, as mentioned above you can work in a lower pressure range with the extended gas tube. These are great for things like 6 and 6.5 CM in large frames or Valkyrie in small frames. +2 gas systems and adjustable gas blocks are all about tuning the amount of energy from the gas to cycle the bolt...
1 Leupold 5-25 Mk5 with H59 Reticle, Bobro 20MOA 35 mm mount still up for sale. $1850 each shipped, $1800 in person. (Not interested in any trades). Buyer backed out from previous sale. Rifle not included
Yep, definitely check out TX Precision. Monthly precision center fire matches on 2nd Saturdays and 22LR matches on 3rd Saturdays. Registration and FB Links
I tried the Broom and it wasn't fast enough for me. The cheapest way is a tarp but if you want efficient the CED brass net is what I'm using now. Saw it at 2018 Nationals and bought a bunch for our Steel Challenge club since that range requires us to pick up brass (Hah, no problem!) Liked it so...
In general the mag blocks fell out of favor as dedicated lowers simply increased the reliability of 9mm AR's with less tinkering. There are a few mag blocks out there that are pretty good but by and large the dedicated lower is going to be more reliable in the long run. Of those GLOCK pattern...
Barrel changes are super easy. There's a YouTube video up but it's a super basic modification to pulling the barrel and extension out of the upper. JP will of course help if you need it for anything but for those of us that have done the process I doubt most folks will need it. My suppressed...
My favorite bipod. After playing with this for a month I'm sold. I'm going to put one on each of my precision rifles. Big shout out to @TBACRAY and @Mile High Shooting (y)(y)
@BigChungus I'd suggest a JP LRP-07. I run one of mine suppressed and all my LRP's are workhorses while still being super accurate and smooth. JP's standard barrels are 22" but if you absolutely HAVE to go 20" they will cut one down for you. The Vortex 4.5-27 is a solid choice as is the Leupold...
