I had a customer bring me a Rem 700 action with a buggered front action screw hole. The screw was rusted in place or glued in place and imprecisely drilled out which elongated the hole. Any suggestions on drilling and tapping oversize? Never encountered this one.

Just got off the phone with McMillan. Placed order 6/4 for 3 stocks, unaltered in any way...no inletting color. Said might be 8 weeks. Now saying 8 ore weeks. 4 months to get an un-inletted stock. Glad I did not order a camo drop-in. Might be next Christmas before that would be ready.
