    Does anyone have a barrel profile drawing for the AE M24 can in 5/8×24? I seem to remember one floating around back in the day but can't seem to find it.

    The Pelican iM3300 will be your best bet. There should still be plenty of sources of pre-cut foam for the M24A2 that will be fine for the M24. It is a little heavy, but so is any hard case of decent quality.

    My ASA came in a generic rifle case (Plano ProMax PillarLock Scoped Rifle Case), it was garbage. The only hard case that came with the original system is the Hardigg deployment case. Additionally there was an Allen Soft Case, and an Eagle drag bag on the Additional Authorized List.

    I may have been the only one who didn't know this... But the Badger 306-59-3 side rail for the EFR and IMUNS (which is still fairly available from various retailers) appears to be the same as the ones Badger used on the Remington MARS. If you have a MARS without side rails, these fit perfect.

    I also wonder if the bottom metal change occurred after the Army guns were complete. Also, OPS Inc definitely had a .30 cal 12th Model. It was 11" long compared to the 3rd Model's 12.5"

    Awesome. I was unable to find Federal GM762M2 (which I understand is essentially Mk316 Mod 0) so I picked up a box of GM308M2. So I should be able to fire, and reload the GM308M2 out of the M24 with no issues? Do we know if the GM762 and GM308 even use different brass?

    What are you guys feeding your 24s? I'm new to the rifle, and new to .308 altogether. Any issues with commercial .308 (specifically Federal GMM .308) with regard to the whole .308 vs 7.62x51 headspace? Handloaders, do you limit yourselves to the thicker 7.62 NATO brass?
