US Präzipress Ordering
Just received my 105mm Prazipress this week. Very impressive tool. I have wanted one since learning about them several years ago, and finally ordered one. Loaded up some 223 with it today. Rimfire Flow through suppessor
Out of the five rimfire cans I have, the Rad22 is the least accurate on most any platform host. Semi rifle, bolt rifle, semi pistol all fared better accuracy wise with any other rimfire can I had (TBAC, DA Mask, SiCo Spectre 2, AAC Halcyon). Precision Rifle Gear Naming loads for Kestrel and in general
I just name it after the projectile, then adjust the speed based on what rifle I am shooting. One profile for Berger 105 Hybrid, adjust speed for 6 ARC, 6 CM, Dasher etc...- Freebore221

New barrel slowing down?
Worked with the 43.0 grain load yesterday. It hammers! Tested dope at 553, 950, 1300, and 1440 yards, very happy with the results! Feels good to find a "cheap" bullet that your barrel likes, ordered a couple thousand more...- Freebore221

I just realized that it might be confusing if someone only read a couple of posts on here. I actually fired 150 rounds of the 40.0 grain load of RL 16 before performing the ladder loads. I agree with you about rounds down the barrel before any load development attempts. 200 rounds total on this...- Freebore221

I was amazed there were no signs of pressure with any of these loads, 2900 FPS+ with 140's is pretty darn fast. Definitely looking at load development there as well as the lower node @ 40.6 grains.- Freebore221

Ok, here is what I have. First 50 rounds of the day is the 40.0 grains RL16 the last 50 rounds was kind of a ladder going up 0.3 each load 5 rounds each. Suppressors Accurate, Clean, Consistent, Reliable: Favorite 300 AAC Blackout Factory Ammo for Suppressed AR?
The Sig 220's are the most reliable/cleanest in my gun for factory ammo. Winchester white box subs and Sellier & Bellot are tied for the worst/dirty.- Freebore221

New barrel slowing down?
After 200 rounds total the speed is up a little bit at 2717 FPS. Probably the slowest and lowest speed up in any barrel I have owned. Still shooting about 1/2 MOA so that is good!- Freebore221

All loaded at the same time with the same canister of powder, first 40 rounds shot on Wednesday morning, last 60 rounds shot Thursday morning. Thursday was about 10 degrees cooler than Wednesday. Possible temp variation but RL 16 is pretty temp stable and 10 degrees is not much of a difference...- Freebore221

No copper remover, just eliminator. Loaded up another hundred and going out tomorrow. I am thinking I won't clean for these last hundred rounds and see how it acts. So I am breaking in a new 6.5 CM barrel from P2 precision... Pre-fit for BAT TR 26" and it seems to be slowing down? First time prairie dog hunting
Shooting mat and bi-pod/rear bag if you can get a slightly elevated position. Tripod that you can mount your rifle via arca or hog saddle etc... set up in the bed of your pick-up for height advantage. Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph
Mine missed 2 shots yesterday on my first session. Was shooting a 7mm-08 and like an idiot I selected the wrong velocity setting. Started a new session with the correct velocity setting and it didn't miss a single shot.- Freebore221

Gunsmithing Firing pin question
Hard bolt lift regardless of ammo used or dry firing may be the result of shooting the higher pressure 5.56 ammo in the .223 Rem chamber. Are your bolt lugs looking ok? Might be galled or otherwise damaged? Best of luck to you sorting it out!- Freebore221

Maybe stop shooting 5.56 ammo in your .223 Remington chamber rifle? Probably where your hard bolt lift is coming from and light strikes on hard primers, most likely nothing wrong with your gun other than operator error in ammo selection...- Freebore221

Pristene Actions?
I have two, pretty impressed actually. A 223 with a proof savage prefit, and a 6.5CM with a preferred blanks savage prefit. .25 Moa - .5 Moa easily attainable with both, bolt lift is exceptionally light, cycles very smoothly. Both are in MPA chassis with TT Diamonds.- Freebore221
