    I differ with your evaluation. If you look at the wrapping and date code you will notice it is 2008 which would be a Hill manufactured trigger guard.     That is correct only the ones used by Remington on the M24 contract have the magnaflux stamp.

    That is the original maker Dakota arms verses newer ones made by Hill. This is welded together verses being screwed with two Allen screws.

    The Redfield version of the flash hider would be fine, the difference is the lock ring which is taller.

    Were you able to remove the butt pad to fix you center screw? I cannot figure our what kind of screws hold it on (phillips, allen, torx?) Let me know when you get a chance. Thanks, Lu
