You could always take the factory stock and send it off for a quick paint job, would help reduce the costs.

I believe most of the stock/firearm painters here have done some for on pink camo or design on rifles. I know McMillan has done molded in pink and other colors for their stocks.

I think you are the one that is not reading. If you install a 6.5 barrel, then install the .338 Norma barrel, each one of them when installed will have the same point of impact in regards to point of aim.

That is a good point you bring up about strings of fire and the barrel contour. The contour of your barrel is where you will gain or lose the most weight. I don't ever plan on firing over 10 rounds back to back so I have a #3 contour.

I shot 3090 123smk out of my 20" .260, only saw pressure signs when extended shooting in 100 degree weather under the direct sun. Rifle being put together is an 18" .260, I am expecting to see 2800-2900 from a 123Amax.
