    Hand held GPS

    After 10 years of good use my Magellan 410 mapping GPS has gone tits up. Any recommendations for a replacement? At the time I acquired my 410 there were not many options available, but now there seem to be hundreds of choices. Primary use is for mountain pack trips and elk hunting.

    Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10

    I am thinking of replacing an older Leupold 6-18 AO that is mounted on a .220 Swift. I am considering the Vortex Viper PST with the MilRad cross hairs as a replacement. Anyone have any experience yet with these scopes. Intended use includes coyotes, prairie dogs and ground squirrels.
