    Need help on deciding which scope to get for my Rem 700 SPS Tactical short action. Considering the following: 1. S&B PMII 4-16x50 P4F Mil/Mil illuminated single turn 2. USO SN-3 3.2-17 Mil/Mil Erek illuminated Rifle will be used to punch paper and for the occasional class.

    Gunsmithing MCM A-5 Rem 700 Issue

    Put my Rem 700 in my new MCM A-5 stock. Just went out to the range this weekend. Got back from the range and noticed this. White mark on stock right under the barrel in the middle of the photo below. Is the barrel moving and hitting the stock? Should I be concerned?
