With a high recoiling rifle such as a 338 Lapua, your cheek would be sore after a few rounds with the cheek rest angled "backwards" like that. Practice with it. If it works for you, go with it until you can modify your system (if ever). JMHO

Only use a sized case. Sizing is what makes 'em grow.

What is the voltage cutoff of the Magnetospeed? You do realize an 18650 is 3.6v and two CR123's are 7.2v. Given the flat voltage curve of Lion batteries, it may be ok....or not. YMMV JMHO

I use an "Apache" 5800 case with the roller wheels for electronic equipment. Pretty robust for the price, and it does what I need.

Light bullets going really fast shorten barrel life faster than slower bullets. A lot faster bullet....a lot faster wear!!!!!!

Increase your samples to at least five rounds for initial testing. That should at least give some confidence in your numbers. Then take your most accurate groups with the lowest SD and adjust seating, charge weight, etc. to lower your SD. A low SD or ES doean't do you much good if it isn't...

I asked my LGS (who sells Prime ammo) what was up with no available Prime ammo. "He said" they were negotiating a new production deal, and hopefully would hear something in a few weeks. That's my "heard it" rumor and I'm sticking with it. :)
