Well the same union head that allowed this was “negotiating” this abomination as well. Heard they fired a grand total of 10 corrections officers so far. And apparently like 1000 National Guard Soldiers signed up to perform the corrections job…. We’ll see how fast the turnover rate is from them...- notacos4u

They aren’t given ammo… they’re given unloaded weapons and told, good luck. The NG in NY is the states personal cheap labor. When you run the numbers and the mandatory 12 hour shifts they are also required to work, the amount they’re paid is way below minimum wage. Yet in this liberal state...- notacos4u

Now the NYARNG is setting up a full time state active duty mission to replace the CO’s. They are currently paying an additional $1000 to every Soldier that is on the mission currently, which is approximately 7,000 soldiers, and originally a $2000 stipend for those in the prisons, and just upped...- notacos4u
