    9mm AR not running FA

My FA 9mm Colt SMG runs great suppressed using a specific 9mm buffer. It is heavier than an AR15 H3 buffer. Look for a buffer specific for 9mm.

american defence vs Larue mounts which one do you like and why

I have both Larue and ADM QD mounts. I like that the ADM can be adjusted without tools. Both work great and have a solid mount to the rail. With that said, the Larue is $100 +/- more in cost and I dont see that it is worth it. My last two QD mounts are ADM.

Built a .308 AR, having ejection issues. Any Ideas?

I built a 308 carbine using a Mega Arms upper/lower and a DPMS 16" barrel. I had the same issue with the gun being over gassed. Combinations of springs and buffers helped a little but did not solve the problem. I then installed a SLR adjustable clamp on gas block DA7 Adjustable Gas Block and...

Clamp on vs Set screw gas blocks...

I use VLTOR low profile gas blocks on all my AR's. I have not found a free floating tube they wont fit under and they seem to manufacture them with a larger gas port area on the barrel side. To my understanding, clamp on is a better system as it distributes the clamp stress uniformly around...

    6.5 Creedmoor Primers

I'm currently working up a load for my 6.5 Creedmoor gas gun. I'm starting with 130gr VLD's and H4350 powder. Ive noticed that most people are using Federal 210 match primers with some loads using CCI 200 primers. Has anyone tried CCI 34 primers successfully? Thanks

10.5" SBR - Buffer and Buffer Spring Options

My RRA SBR with 10.5" barrel came with a standard CAR spring but an H3 buffer. It seems to feed just fine with everything from Wolf 55gr to my handloads with 77gr SMK.

Im in the final stages of completing an AR-10 build constructed specifically for the 6.5 Creedmoor. Along with the new rifle, I will be handloading the ammunition for this gun. From my research (alot here on SH), I have narrowed my bullet selection down to the following: Hornady 123 gr SST...
