It shot well and it was a handy hunting rifle, but I’ve replaced the barrel with medium Palma so I could shoot 10-20 rounds without overheating the barrel. The barrel is one pound heavier now, but I’ve saved 1.5 pounds by switching to UPR stock.

I think they’re 22.5”ish, but yes down to 17”

I’ve had my 7mm-08 Tikka cut down to 17” and Fierce Fury 300 WSM to 21” both threaded to 9/16x24 with great results. Both done by LRI

I've sent my SCAR-H to ECCO last year, before I new of AAC's offering and they did a great job. I may send it to AAC to make it lighter and WM proof, but for now I'm using it with Griffin mounts and I'm happy with the conversion.
