    Rifle Scopes Redfield Accurange Questions

    I have a 3x9 with the accurange. It does not have a top turret cap, but a dial type adjustment knob. Is this correct? Is there a way to tell the age of the scope. Tombstone intact, glass is very good and scope is not all ringed up, but does have a light ring mark. Approx. Value? Thanks.

    I was looking at a friends model 700 action, and it is an older action, and it appeared to have a place for strip clips. Is this normal? it was in a .308. It was a low serial number, but to be honest, I had never seen a 700 with a strip clip slot, if that is what it is. Any info would be...
