    223 Powder Issues

I guess it's not as popular as it was but for those weight bullets I've gone through a lot of Winchester 748.

    Hulk Hogan.......

My daughter and I discuss the things nobody told us when we were growing up. Today with Hulk's passing I mentioned that nobody ever said anybody you like that is older than you will pass before your eyes, if you're lucky. The guy wasn't perfect, like Ozzy, but I see no sign of anybody that will...

Front support: sand bags vs. rifle rests

I used to just use a taller pile of sandbags, which were old birdshot bags, in the front and however many in the rear. I used to make as little as possible contact with the gun. Since you're almost free recoiling that gave it a better run at you so it kicked. That produced the steadiest I've...

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

Sorry to sidetrack but if this is on a range, where is it?

I'm not one for shooting when its hot

Don't get me wrong, Florida is HOT this time of year and the humidity sucks the breath right out of you, or me anyhow. But worse than shooting in it is driving 40 miles to the range which will then shut down if there's a lightning strike within 7 (?) miles. Whatever the distance is, that part of...

    I Spy New Baby Razor G3 4-24

It doesn't matter what you say Rob, you'll never be his latex salesman.

Did Steiner just quietly build the MPO we have all been asking for? H6xi

Why not use something like this? https://yhm.net/accessories/rails-mounts/scope-riser/ They're cheaper elsewhere but I recommend replacing the screws with good old socket cap screws.

    308 scar 17 loads in 2025

41.5 grains of H4895 in LC or IMI brass with a 168 SMK is a known accuracy load. I'm not sure why you'd dismiss some of these powders that work well in .308, especially when you have an adjustable gas system. If you're interested in "blaster" loads, why aren't you just using 147 pulls? If you...

    Barrel Extension Replication

I'm certainly no lawyer, but I don't think you can say absolutely that RemArms owns all of Remington's property. Because if they did, would they not assume liability for what Remington produced? And they will not warranty anything Remington made, that's what they told me when I asked.

    6mm max

There's people on Reddit saying they're going to be another T-Rex Arms. Whatever that means, because I couldn't get anybody to give me an explanation.

Rock Island Pro Ultra Match HD

I haven't used one, but there seems to be a lot of love for the MAC DS9. It is a 4.25" bull barrel btw.

Best offset mount and red dot combo for AR?

The only thing I bought from T-Rex Arms was their offset mount. It is more like the height of your primary optic so it's just a rotation.

My Magnum Opus build. I'm naming it King Roland, of Druidia

Oh duh. Yes, I remember now. I was considering getting a Garand barrel then. This is the first time I've seen one in the wild though. I'm looking forward to your range report when it's done. You do great work and I appreciate your YT videos as well.

Badlands "Shell Shock" 5.56 - snake oil?

Look at the last two posts. The steel of an action is the pressure vessel that contains the controlled explosion going off in igniting a cartridge. No matter what material which the case is constructed. A bolt action has a lot of steel, an AR, not so much. The AR only has the barrel extension...

Does anyone else get frustrated reloading

We made this too complicated. Now we're trying to bump brass so that it has a perfect fit to the chamber, blah blah. The first sub-moa loads I made were in new brass I only chamfered and then just used a FL RCBS die to size after firing. I had no idea what the shoulder bump was. And you can say...

I think I found my new scope

Call me an elitist but if a scope doesn't come with a minimum bench press requirement, bow kills, or concrete construction knowledge, I don't want it! QF, FTW!
