    Lucas cleaning bore guide

Hi all, Just wanted to share my experience with Mike Lucas who made a bore guide for my Howa 1500 .308 rifle. I had a heck of a time trying to find a bore guide that would fit in the chamber of my Howa, after trying a couple of brands of bore guides...

Sidearms & Scatterguns I was trying to wait...

Hahah nice... I haven't followed the show for a long, long time, so not sure what all is going on now, but Charlie was very personable and cool to be around. Edited to add: Just searched and found the stuff about Will... All I can say is, wow...

Sidearms & Scatterguns I was trying to wait...

But the right deals came up and my will power went out the door... Bought me a Dan Wesson Stainless Valor and a Les Baer P2 w/1.5" guarantee last week, then went to Vegas this past weekend for my bachelor's party... It was a GOOD week! :D I went to shoot some full-auto in Vegas for fun, and...

NEW from XLR Industries **ELEMENT CHASSIS**

Not very soft... Compared to my AICS 1.5 I'd say they are about the same. It is quite a bit harder than the butt pad on my KRG X-ray, which is the most comfortable (for me) on stocks I've owned so far.

NEW from XLR Industries **ELEMENT CHASSIS**

Just got my Element in the mail today. I currently have the KRG X-Ray and it'll be interesting to see how it stacks up against the Element. One thing is for sure, the Element has A LOT less screws than the X-Ray; I'm starting to get tired of chassis with "skins" and would rather work with plain...

First post, need some help choosing a barrel

Contact Paul Craddock at Craddock Precision and have him tailor a barrel to your needs. His custom barrel pricing is good and he quoted me 3 weeks for a 6.5 CM barrel build just yesterday. His .223 time frame might be shorter... Great guy to deal with. Wix.com craddockprecision created by...

New Titan 1022 Precision Rimfire Stock....

What... No adjustable cheek rest?! :) I don't want to get a 10/22 just to go with this stock, but I'd certainly like one for my CZ 455...

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

I am 5'9 and I got both the 3 spacer kit and the 4 spacer kit and ended up using the 4. It gave me the best positional feel and lock in both bench and prone positions. In short, you will need spacers. For you I would get at least 4 spacers and if you don't need the fourth, cut the screw shorter...

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

Thanks much for the info. I was actually able to screw the included screws all the way down with room to spare after tightening, so no washers needed. At one point it did get harder to screw but I never hit any semblance of a stop so I kept going. I had thought maybe I was hitting rubber already...

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

Just got mine in the mail today, will install when I get off work. Did you have to go elsewhere to find those washers, and if yes, what size did you get? Will the washers that came with the stock work? There were no instructions given but I thought it would be simple enough to install, however...

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

No spacer needed. The front action screw does come with two washers, and you would use only one washer for Tikka actions but two washers for mounting Remington Short Actions. Other than that, no other mention of a spacer for mounting the Rem SA. Mine is feeding and ejecting fine.

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

Are you having trouble with your feeding? The stock doesn't come with a bottom metal per se... you just screw the action into the stock and it is good to go. The latch is actually on the trigger guard; not sure if that can be changed. I have a deviant action but the idea is the same.

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

I've been trying to get that Adjustable cheek mount so I can use my Victor cheek piece with it, but KRG is always out of stock, I'll give it a look see in a second here... Had some time the past couple of nights so I was messing around with some paint... I'm looking for opportunities to take...

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

Thanks much. Looking to take a few more outside shots when possible. It definitely has a different sex appeal than the AICS, but good looking nonetheless.

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

Got the ambi QD cup squared away finally at the butt stock location. I used both a Type 1 and Type 2 Magpul QD cup, and connected the two with one 10-32 x 3/8" hex screw and it is a nice and tight fit on the stock. The 3/8" screw was just the correct length to be able to screw into the Type 2 QD...

What is your favorite brake for .308?

Glad to know there are so many Hercules on this forum who can take a beating... How getting a brake for a rifle automatically equates to the shooter being weak and unable to shoot large caliber firearms, or any firearms is beyond me... Saying if recoil on a 308 (medium to heavy weight only, so...
