When it’s connected to the 5700 I don’t see how it can be ballistically limited, since it’s using Bluetooth to transfer info. But the 3500.com itself as a stand-alone unit is probably limited by distance (when shooting angles and such). I haven’t read much about it tho since I tend to figure...

My 3500.com was sharing data back and forth with my K5700 out to 3122m (farthest I could hit standing on an uneven surface). So the Kestrel and the Leica would display the measured distance AND mils.

Received my 3500.com today. Yea it drops the connection after a little bit, but it picks it up again when I press one of the buttons. Takes several seconds to reconnect but it always does. Also swapped the battery in and out and it connects right back up as if I were waking it from sleep. But...

Ugh. There’s a Leica Vector IV for sale on my Canadian forum.. Probably should have grabbed that instead of this 3500.

I returned my 2000-B last week (for the second time) due to laser/accuracy issues. Leica says they have to send it back to Europe this time so instead I’m trading it in and having them send me a new 3500.com. It‘ll arrive Monday. Once I’ve played around with it a bit I may reply back here with...

Wow you guys both returned it. Hmm. Thinking maybe I’m best sticking with my green 2000-B, which has no features. Might be he best way to go for now.

That’s great. Have they updated the scan feature compared to the older models? I have a 2000-B and find scanning is painful when compared to a Sig Kilo or evening a Vortex, which has a true constant scan.

@ghostmoney, Re the 3500.com + Kestrel 5700 Elite: Can you range multiple targets by selecting on the Kestrel say “A” target, then ranging, then “B” target, then ranging, and so on, and when each time you range it will save the distance to that specific active target profile (in the Kestrel)?

That could be the issue, but I bet it was a bit of the wind too ? I remove the rear tang on mine in order to clean the carbon ring in the chamber. (it’s cumulative so I do this each time I shoot it). It’s the only way to get a cleaning rod down there without entering the actual rifled barrel. I...

@GibsonL5 I hear ya. Frustrating it is but don’t give up yet. My Supergrade is a laser beam! Also the wind could be an issue! What direction is it blowing from? You might be surprised -- a 3mph full-value wind can throw you off 0.1-0.2 mils @ 50y/m. And if it’s blowing in gusts then your groups...

@GibsonL5 try using different ammo. Just because it worked I your T1x doesn’t mean it’s the best ammo for your Kidd. Also, did you play around with torque settings on your Titan? When Tony built my Supergrade back in 2012 he specifically said to torque both action and rear tang screws to 10...
