    opinions on Magpul MBUS sights.

    Looking for opinions from people who have used these sight or can recomend a pair of flip up sights in the same or lower price point. Trying to set up my fathers rifle and he prefers to run his optic low and a typical A2 front sight is way to high.

    Gunsmithing cutting down a chrome lined barrel.

    I was wondering is any of you fine folks have ever cut off a hard chrome lined barrel? I have an extra AR barrel and a SBR Form-1 here and rather than buying a new barrel I was considering cutting off this one.. I know the gas port will need to be adjusted as well.
