    I'd go for the brake. In the rare case it gets shot without the suppressor, the brake will be a better option than the flash hider.

    If it is in fact .101, would a 16" work? Doing some research, it looks like barrel mfgs are all over the place on gas port size in relationship to barrel length and gas system length.

    I have the DMR in 6 arc with 22" barrel. I want to go shorter for suppressor use. Should I have the barrel cut down or go with a new barrel. I don't hear much on the quality of seekins barrels but this one seems to shoot factory ammo well.

    Good information so far. So if I understand correct, if you have never used one then they are stupid and don't work. If you have then they seem to work well at suppression and possibly keep the action cleaner.
