    Varget works best with higher pressure loads. Shot thousands of rounds of .308, 6mmBR and 6-Dashers. When your in the sweet spot it burns very clean.

    With some attention to detail, and careful assembly they work perfectly. You have to modify the savage follower. Great 12 round magazines.

    First rifle I shot NRL22/PRS Rimfire with. Lilja drop in barrel Manners stock. The Lilja was adequate, extraction was an issue. Tight target chamber did not work at all. Realized this is not working. Put the rifle back together, its a great little sporter.

    Custom stocked Pre-64 Mod 70 .308. LRI has my Pre-64 Mod 70, 257 Roberts, blueprinting the action, new Krieger barrel, staying with 257 Roberts, dropping into a McMillan M40A1.
