Has anyone gotten one of these rifles to group really well and consistent using handloads? From what I've read, the best groups have been gotten only with match grade ammo and are very pickey. The reviews I've found state they don't produce the accuracy they have claimed. Thanks for any info! :)
For those who use it, do you treat the bolt & lugs with it in the usual manner or, do you stick with Tetra Grease etc. for the locking lugs and any camming type surfaces? Thanks!
I have replaced the factory stock with a B&C Medalist style A2 stock. I'd like to keep the same caliber but, replace barrel with a longer match grade and have action trued. Thanks for all input.
Would this be good to lubricate as well as a cleaner, and rust inhibitor? I've been using CLP and decided to order some eezox to try. Also, will it work on the slide of my M&P 40 or should a light coat of grease be used on the slide instead? All advice is appreciated!
I originally, set the fast focus eye ring looking at the sky for the sharpest, clearest reticle as most manufacturers suggest. The other day I decided to turn the adjustment ring while looking at my 100 yd. target. The strange thing was it was like turning the power setting up and down? I was...
The factory aluminum clamp on rings are soft and allowed the scope to slide through them and also, the aluminum allen head screws that tighten to the base stripped out the heads. I found a set of Weaver #61 flat bottom bases that are suppose to work but, the screws feel like they might be too...
This is a new gun just (old stock) manufactured in 2007. I had a t3 lite 25-06 at one time in synthetic and it was a bear to get the barreled action out of the stock and back in. It seemed to be because of the recoil lug to stock fit. With this new t3 Deluxe model 270 win. in wood stock the...
I've been reloading with these for my .308 win. and was wondering if they would perform well enough on deer with average shots from 50-150yds. with loads in my 30-06? Thanks! PS I also, have some 150gr. Sierra GKs.
I made a trade online for one of these model scopes but, no matter how I adjust the AO through it's 720 degree rotation it just will not focus clear at any range/setting seems to look way to white with no contrast or clarity. I compared it to my Weaver t36 36x40 and the Weaver is so much clearer...
Has anyone loaded this bullet for 308 Win and if so, how well did it perform for you? I was just curious cause I found a box locally but haven't got a chance to load and try any yet. Thanks!
I would like to remove the 2 piece base set from my Marlin MR-7 and put a one piece base like a picatinny so I can mount my scope a little closer to my eye as I have to stretch my neck now when shooting from a bench. The problem is, the bases and rings both have torx head screws and so far, I...
I would like to get a brake that performs really well at preventing muzzle jump. I'm not concerned with felt recoil reduction or how loud it is since I don't shoot at public ranges. Just looking for suggestions and this gun will mostly be used for casual paper punching. Thanks!
I put my Rem. 700 sps AAC-SD .308 in a Bell and Carlson Tactical Medalist A2 style stock and would like to get a better /taller rear bag now. I just have the cheap Caldwell bag right now and was thinking about maybe getting a Protektor brand but, there are so many different ones to choose from I...
I just did some trading for a brand new 2012 model and am putting it in a Bell and Carlson Medalist A2 style stock and plan to replace the trigger with a Timney #510 trigger. I was hesitant due to a lot of talk on most forums about the Quality and CS. of the Remingtons going downhill in the...
