How far off the lands were you loading? I'm currently at 20 thou, not jammed by an any stretch.

I’m sure it is to an extent. I set the die up so it bumps the shoulder back .002 when measured against a fired case. I’m not bottoming the die out on the shell plate.

Well Crap, thanks for the info. I've got a good consistent load using large rifle primers. I was hoping to be able to run a little harder with the small rifle primer but maybe this isn't going to work.

I was thinking I might be able to mitigate it by using CCI 450 Small Rifle Magnum Primers but I have zero experience with this primer. What primers were you using?
