    Rifle Scopes Burris 6

Has anybody tried one out? I currently have an IOR 3-18 on one of my rifles, which is my best scope, and I really like it, except that it's so darn big, and heavy. My rifles are mostly for hunting, 3-gun, and an occasional, 600 yard match, and I rarely change the settings, once it's sighted in.

    Eley ammo in Volquartson

The last time I shot my Volquartson, 10/22 I was using Eley "standard" ammo. I think I tried about 30 different loads, and although the Eley "Tenex" was a little more accurate, the "standard" was about 1/4th the price, and the 2nd most accurate out of my rifle. So, now I find out that Eley has...

    Hi-cap mags for 10/22s

I have a couple of old, Eagle 30 round mags for my 10/22 that have metal lips on them, and are like the energizer bunnie, they keep running and running. I have a bunch of old, Ramline 50 round mags, that when I bought them had a "lifetime" warranty, but, when I sent them to the address listed...

    Trigger on .22 rimfire pistol

Does anybody do any light triggers on any .22 rimfire pistols? The best one I have right now is an old Ruger MKII with a Volquartson kit in it, but, all of my centerfire, "game" guns have a trigger pull weight of 18-20 oz. and I'd really like a rimfire that's the same.

    .22 ammo

Years ago, whenever I got a different .22 rimfire, I used to take it out to the range with at least 10 different kinds of ammo to see what it liked the best. Most of the time, Eley Tennex was the most accurate, which was no big suprise because, at the time, it was about the most expensive, .22...

How to check credibility of a seller

I don't know if this is the proper place to post this, but, here goes. I've bought and sold hundreds of guns, and parts, on various websites over the years, and NEVER had a serious issue, but, on another site, I responded to an ad that was posted by a fellow that had just joined the site, and...

Anybody find a smoking load for DPMS .308?

Out of all of the factory stuff I've tried, Black Hills, 168 grain did the best, producing sub 2" groups at 200 yards, which was better than Federal 168. The best handload I've come up with so far is Lapua 155 grain Scenars, with 46 grains of Varget, which will do 1/2" out of my bolt gun at 200...

    .22 rimfire upper for AR15

Who makes a decent, .22 upper for an AR15, with timely delivery? It doesn't have to shoot 1/2" at 100 yards, but, I want decent accuracy. I've tried a couple of the conversions, but, accuracy sucked. I'd really like to actually practice a little with my ARs without having the expense and noise...

    Does Federal .308 brass suck??

I won't even bother loading .223 with Federal brass anymore because I, and a lot of other shooters I know have had issues with loose primer pockets. I THOUGHT I'd read that wasn't a problem with their .308 brass, but, I was priming some Federal .308 brass that I'm 99% sure was only once-fired...
