If I didn’t have a ton of 223 ammo/reloading supplies then to me it doesn’t make sense. The cost of the bolt and barrel can buy quite a bit of reloading gear for calibers you already have(or use to anyway) I think for a lot of us we just like playing with them Like having a axmc in 308 and...
The 223 aics doesn’t feel as smooth as the aw mag which is to be expected. I’ve had an issue with one mag but other than that it’s been 100%. The barrel I received from bugholes is my most accurate of all my AI barrels shooting the 80.5 Berger’s. Now my AT usually stays in 223.
Yes for the short actions. Currently I have 7saum and 300wsm and 223 barrel for my AT. Check with bugholes/spr for the 223 conversion. @MOUNTIC also posts them up every now and then too. Factory bolts are the hardest item to source
Fair enough I like it. I was questioning it because I was too looking at the supergrade. Having something heavy and light for the kids is appealing. I’m definitely interested to see your results with it
Has anyone done a comparison of the bb match and the keystone barrel. I realize there is a pretty decent price difference between the 2 just checking to see if performance is close
