    Re: Correct me if I am a dumbass but..... I had the same problem with the weaver bases as well. I had weaver bases and rings and was maxed out on windage and elevation. I ended up buying leopold dovetail bases and rings and it fixed it.

Check to make sure the gas block isn't canted, I remember reading that is a problem with some. Also the number on the side will tell you what year...
