    Rifle Scopes Lowest R700 SA base?

    What is the lowest height base available for a SA Rem700 from a quality manufacturer? I'll probably be going with a 20MOA if that makes a difference.

    Good .308 Ball load

    I have a bunch of surplus .308 brass and 147gr bullets I'd like to use for a decent ball load. What spherical powder will give me good results? This ammo will be for a scoped FAL. I'd like it to be able to maintain "minute of man" to about 500-600 yards. I'll be using WLR primers.
