Norma 6.5 130 s in a creedmoor Better save me a couple. ...... Knew it was a mistake shipping to your house for safe keeping. This pipelining work bullshit is getting in the way of shooting time. Load your welder and come help me get done faster...... More shooting time that way
Hopefully finding accuracy wont be to hard I will post up some results when they come in and I am home. Be a few weeks. So far my creed hasn't been a picky eater. All have shot moa or better out of it with little effort. I would like to send them out in th 2900 to 2950 range. We shall see.
Ordered some of Norma's match 130 s to try out of my creedmoor. Wanted to see if any on else has tried them and what there recipe was. I usually shoot 130 bergers but decided why not give them a shot. My rifle is a Score-high rem 700 with a bartlien barrel. 1/8.5 twist. 26 inch. Charley...
Re: new baby as promised dime sized groups berger 130 vld on top of 41.9 h 4350. i may try the 140 bergers depending on the velocity I am getting. Didn't check these over the crono
Re: new baby Will try for dime sized. Hopefully some good hand loads will do the trick. I will post up the results when i get em done. .... I might have to let someone else shoot the stick to do it as I am not the best group shooter.
Re: new baby Thanks for checking it out. I have to say I like my ior alot and would buy one again. I would get the newer gen one as it has more eye relief. The glass is clear and tracking is spot on. And charley does build some nice shooting and looking rifles. And really supports...
Re: new baby Specs Manners t4 In coyote tan Trued rem 700 with bartlien 1/8.5 barrel APA bottom metal, I believe the cerakote is forest green. I was shooting 140 a max out of it just to form the brass.
This is my second try to get the pics to show up and on the correct page. This is my Scorehigh gun smithing 6.5 creedmoor. Charley and the guys did a great job. shoots good for zero load development . pic is shots 5 to 15.
Re: my new 6.5 creedmoor from scorehigh gunsmithing Thank you Sheephunter . I posted this in the wrong spot so if someone could move it that would be great. Thanks
Re: NEED ADVICE on manners Being a taller person with large hands I would have to say the t4 is a better fit. But that is just me. And I have handled all the manners stocks. Of the two mentioned i like the t5 better the grip feels more natural to me. hope it helps.
Re: Custom Rifle Makers? I would say to check out Charley Robertson at Scorehigh gunsmithing . He does great work and is an all around good guy who supports lots of shooting completions .
Re: 6.5 creedmoor worth a shot? You will like it. lots of the guys a shoot with love em. They all seem to shoot really well. So I had to have one for myself....got Charley Robertson at Scorehigh putting it together..
Re: 6.5 Creedmor Build +1 on the HS stock they are nice. Shot it a bit and try to handle some stocks and chassis when you get home then see what you like.
Re: Savage rifles, why not? I shoot savage and they do shoot damn good for the money. however they do have some draw backs but so does every rifle. The biggest one for me is the primary extraction is not part of the bolt but the cheesy baffle that rides in front of the bolt handle. It works...
Re: Savage aftermarket magazines Got one of Dans from Darkeagle customs and it works great. Dan is easy to deal with and has great customer care. He is GTG in my book.
