Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Here are pics from when I bought it a year ago. It was NOS (I way overpaid) and I put 40 rounds through it. I just don't shoot this enough. I have three other 308s. I also bought two additional 5 round mags for it.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Just to follow up. I decided not to use the Timney trigger I bought and went with the MCARBO spring. Installation was insanely easy, and the trigger has been significantly improved. It is crisp and light.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Thanks. I will try that out before I install the Timney. I did contact Mcarbo. They list a spring kit for the M70 trigger, but when I emailed them, they said that they do not have anything that works. I even sent them copies of their customer reviews of their product, they responded with an...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I prefer a two stage for my ARs as well and love the trigger on my M1A. Single stage for the bolt guns. The trigger on my FN is over 5lbs, it is crisp though. All of my other rifles are set at 2.5. I bought a Timney for the FN, but I haven't installed it yet. I understand that the Model 70...

Do All Hunting Round Decision? Rifle Build help

I have a 280 that I hunt with. It will work on anything. That being said, I also have a 300 Weatherby because I have read a number of hunting rags and second guessed my 280 (the 280 works just fine).

Army to buy 107,000 Sig m5 rifles, 13,000 Sig m250 LMG, total $4.7 billion contract

I can't find the article at the moment but the one I read stated that the new rifles would be firing rounds capable of 83K psi chamber pressure. I am sure that will really help with barrel life.

I thought about adjusting it, but I really don't want to mess with it. The Timney will be easier for me.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I recently picked up a new old stock FN SPR A5M. It has the 20-inch fluted barrel with 1:12 twist. So far it has shot everything I have put through it, very well. I have only put 80rds through it so far. I don't like the heavy trigger. I have picked up a Timney trigger that I am going to install...
