Additionally, wanted to mention that the CRF works perfectly (.300 Win Mag), and I can single feed rounds on an empty mag without issue. Has anybody been able to confirm how the .300 Norma Mag runs with the large bolt faces? I'm curious whether it CRFs or not.

Just got a shipping notice on my RH LA magnum bolt face action - Woot!

Sheet. I ordered a 28" .300WM prefit from PVA and I got an email from them saying that was going to be something like a year out! Went with a 26" instead which is already laying up against my wall waiting for my LA to arrive. WTF is up with the lead time on long barrels?

If the PVA prefits in .535" and up will be cut without the conical breach it sounds like they'll be backwards compatible. Put another way, any existing prefit for ARCs in the big magnum calibers should be GTG for the CDG if I'm reading the print correctly. PS I'm really curious to hear about...

Seems like Ted's still sorting out the details on the 0.588" actions, so I decided to go with the 0.535" bolt face, but ordered a 0.588" spare for if/when I decide to move up to the .300NM.

This^ !!! If the long-action CDG will feed from a CIP double-stack mag, I'll buy a Xylo cut for those mags the second they go on pre-buy. Personally, looking to build a 300 Win Mag first that I can switch out to 300 Norma Mag at some point if I feel the need.

I wonder what the story is with the 0.588" bolt face not control-round feeding? I'm not worried about it too much, but I wondering what the rub might be, and if that indicates any issues with the long action, large diameter, CIP magazines.
