How is their action? This looks like an incredible deal assuming the action is reliable and smooth and the rifle shoots well. Anyone know what degree bolt throw?
Well... never done PRS before, but I'm interested in trying it next year. Looks like the Production class limits one to a scope with a MSRP at $2500 or less. Are there any go to recommendations? I know the Vortex 4.5-27x is wildly popular, but it looks like the MSRP exceeds the limit.
Hmm little concerned about the AIAT… did they just stop producing sage green folding stock sides and thumb hole stock adapter? I can never find them in stock!
They're coming in with the sporter stock/grip for import laws, but they told me that they have enough real PSG1 stocks and grips set aside exclusively for customers who buy the PSG1 rifle itself. Said they're only going to charge what it costs them to buy the sporter stock so less than $200 or...
Aaaaand Armsunlimited is announcing they're able to import 100 PSG1 in the next few months. Still going to cost $14k+, but that's still $6k+ less than before and for unused rifles. Man... still machine gun money.
Alright, ended up snagging a MR762A1 off gunbroker. Going to have to hunt down a HK threaded Warcomp for my Surefire cans. Any clue if Geissele is still actively making their HK417 rails and triggers?
Appreciate the feedback gentlemen. Reason I asked is because there's on available on Gunbroker... but it's now comfortably past what I was willing to spend anyways. Think I'll be keeping an eye out for a MR762 now. I've refrained for years thinking the Georgia plant will allow them to upgrade...
