    Re: Clip slotting I'm one of the ones interested in having the clip slots milled in a M700. I am only doing it because I need to use the action as a match rifle. In NRA High Power matches there are two rapid fire courses that require reloading in the middle of the string. Hope this helps.

    Well the title says it all. Has any one here done it ? I have a 700 with an M40 profile that is a bit fatter than the Remington Varmint diameter. The price of the B&C Medalist M40 stock is right but I've never ground or cut a fiberglass stock.
