    Toughest scope mounts?

I send my Vortex torque wrench back to them every year or two for calibration. They do it with no hassle. I don't even call them. I print out their service form and send it in. Generally I have it back in a week or less. I also had the pleasure of seeing their calibration equipment before.

    Prism Scope Field of View

FOV is dictated by the eye piece design. Lens diameter, eye relief, Focal length are the main drivers of eyepiece FOV, otherwise known as AFOV. All else being equal the following is true- -Larger Diameter eyepiece lens= wider FOV (For example the new Kahles/Swaro 28 degree scopes) -Longer eye...

    Rifle Scopes EBR-7F Reticle

Just in case anyone is interested. The reticle is designed around the 14.5 URG-I shooting 855a1 at a DA of 3000ft

How to remove weight from a foundation Samson

Sounds like you bought the wrong stock. The Samson is purpose built for PRS style shooting. I would recommend keeping it for PRS and get a lighter foundation for whatever you are trying to do with this one. Whatever you do don't butcher the Samson it is fantastic work of art the way it is.

I have both and have seen many of each. I'll take the 7-35 every time.

    Help overwhelmed first thermal

I was extremely impressed by the DNT hydra h635 at shot show. 35mm 640 sensor for $2200 online right now. Might be able to get it for less through cameraland. Has one of best eyepieces I've seen, it's light and pretty compact. I believe @koshkin mentioned he was very impressed also...

    30 MOA Cant for Vortex Razor Gen 3 6-36 x 56

They have just had too many issues/failures. Honestly I'd recommend just about any other high-end mount. As mentioned above, area 419 probably has the best, while over engineered, mount going right now. That being said, Grey ops, nightforce, seekins, Badger, Vortex PMR, etc also work great.

Night Vision Armasight Nemesis 4x ID

So the sight is completely functional. It's just missing a trim ring and lens cap?

Night Vision Armasight Nemesis 4x ID

Out of curiosity, what do you mean "the diopter is missing"?

    30 MOA Cant for Vortex Razor Gen 3 6-36 x 56

I would highly recommend a different brand mount, but other than that you're good.

    Badger C1 vs C1 Max

If you call Badger I'd be willing to bet they say that they only do the 6 screw(max) out of customers demand, not practicality. I may or may not have done this very thing.

Typical windage adjustments needed when zeroing rifle?

Its probably the Chinese xtr rings. Nightforce absolutely centers their reticles after QC as does most other reputable companies.

Typical windage adjustments needed when zeroing rifle?

Actually most companies do center the reticle, but they don't do it by dialing to the extremes as that can be inconsistent with machining tolerances. They use a collimator and spin the scope while adjusting the turrets until the center is stationary while spinning the scope. Now, most companies...

    1550nm handheld RF availability

What distances are you referring to that your Raptar does well at in sunny/mirage conditions? The reason I ask is because raptors historical haven't been known for performing well in these conditions. I've personally had trouble getting full size ipsc beyond 8-900m in said conditions. That's...

    Rifle Scopes S&B scope question

I would imagine they were selling so few of them that it's not worth the trouble of making them anymore. Just a guess on my part. I certainly don't know for sure.

Vortex 1-6x LPVO US Army Rangers Contract kit

I have used these scopes, Crane designation SU-300. The illumination is the same tech that is in the rzr 1-10's. It's very, very bright, red dot like brightness.

Either way, it's a badass thermal and a smoking deal for what you are getting.
