I looked at one at cabelas along with a vx-r patrol. The mark ar was light but there was a significant drop in quality. For just a few hundred bucks and 2 oz. I would get the vx-r.

Re: GAP built Badger rifles - triplets :) I'll trade you my set of triplets for yours. Mine are 15 months old and smell like crap or puke most of the time. LOL
Re: NXS arrived! +1 for Alex and the scope. I bought the exact same scope from him and it is unbelievable. I can see bullet holes on white or black out to 500 yards(as far as I have shot paper so far) without a problem. I don't even use my spotting scope any more (crappy Nikon) when I spot...

Re: Mounting Badger rail on 700 LTR I did take a little blue loctite and smeared some on the bottom of the base with my finger. Not sure how much it will keep moisture and rust out but that's why I would use blue so that some day when you decide to give it a good cleaning you can take it off...

Re: SN3.2-17 44 Vs Mark 4 ER 6.5-20 50 I assume you're talking about the Mark 4 FFP. That was a debate I was facing a while back. I have used a Leupy, NF and others and I would agree with what has been said already. US Optics are amazing and I hope to own one some day, but until then...
Re: NF NXS Question, possible issue? I was messing with a NXS the other day at the store (can't wait for mine to get here) and the same thing happened. The guy at the counter just screwed it back tight and acted like it happened all the time. My uneducated guess would be that it is fine...
Re: Badger ring height for Nightforce 5.5-22x50? I checked there too. I decided to go with Seekins mediums and ordered from Scott at LO. I've already got them in hand and I am pleased and impressed.
