Got an ADJ M3A from McMillan and want to get my scope painted to match the stock they did for me. Anyone know if they offer that service? Ended up with a swirl-marbled pattern in od, black, brown and touch of grey.
anyone used this? I bought it and have gone through the various tutorials. It's pretty good...but I have noticed on the scored range exercises that i never seem to range the target the way the computer program does, even though I am doing it correctly. it seems like the software progam is off...
Anyone been to this facility or taken their long range rifle course? I recently attended a Front Sight course in Nevada and wondered how they compared...other than Front Sight being significantly more expensive.
Ok, so I now know how to range a target using the military reticle. Now what? My scope is a IOR 2.5-10x42. How do I figure how many cliks to adjust using the two knobs? Yes, I am a newbie.
I am not ashamed to admit I know little, if anything, about how to effectively use a scope. I plan to shell out some $$ for a IOR but would like to get the most out of my investment. Is there any sort of tutorial (Scopes for Dummies) or courses that exist? reticle, mil, moa....all "greek" to me.
How do I figure which ring height to go with? I have a Burris Fullfield II tactical 4.5-14x42 that has a 1 inch tube. It's going on an M1A with a Sadlak mount. Burris XTR rings come in the following: Low - 1/4" high Medium - 1/2" high High - 3/4" high Extra High - 1" high
