We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
What do you think you are doing when your initial zeroing? It's not if.....its when. Nothing is perfect. You are correcting the sights for all tolerance stacking of the individual parts.
Why would you drill out the aluminum chassis to put aluminum pillars back in? Fitting/clearancing the bottom metal....sure. But why remove aluminum just to add it back in?
Reminded me of a lab we had 20yrs ago. I saw Jake somehow catch a cottontail. He put a paw on its head and ripped it in half and swallowed it whole. Then gulped down the other half. Two bites....gone. Dog was like 140lbs. Couldn't lift the fat bastard. Jake was overly fond of water...
This year's schedule (2024)....all the purple indicators are for LR Varmint. Matches are on Tuesdays and start at 6pm sharp. Be there ideally by 5:30 or so to sign up and pay your $10 entry. They have a cheaper rate for members if I recall. Also using this to bump this thread so maybe more...

That's a Mystichrome Cobra. Saw one once. Fun fact of the terminator cobras. The cobra badge has a red eye like terminator. And although the forced induction 4.6L was pretty stout for its day. The 00' Cobra R had a highly tuned naturally aspirated 5.4L triton that easily competed with the...
My 16" barrel tacsol barrel on my 10/22 was definitely louder report than my 21" cut down 77/22 barrel. I would leave it alone if it balances fine. Your not doing CQB with a bolt gun. Being short isn't that much of an advantage on a hunting rimfire.
How about you run the data on your solver using the two different velocities and see which gives closer solutions and let that be what we value. Then value that tool over the other regardless if the speed seems wrong. At least till better comes along. Surely the paper targets will tell you...
