I've dropped 2 blk tail so far since i've had it and the size is perfect for the type of hunting I do around here. Unfortunately I live in California so I can not have a can. As for the bipod it is a magpul. Most of the weight on my setup is from my scope and muzzle devise.

I've had mine for just over a year now. They didn't have those barrels at the time I built mine and I just wanted something simple for blk tail hunting. Mine isn't anything fancy I'm just running a factory rem700 action with a 9" kak barrel in 300blk out.

I dropped a back tail this year with my 9" 300blk out 1:8 twist pork sword around 80yrds using the Barnes 110g TSX copper and the bullet mushroomed out nicely without separating. The bullet blew out one side of the shoulder blade and lodged on the inner skin of the other side.

The pork sword is compact with the stock folded. I have one with a 9" barrel in 300blk and it will fit nicely inside my backpack. Weight wise you can build them pretty light but depends on your scope setup.

I had this one built in 300blk out for the type of hunting I do here locally but you can build one in 308 no problem.

Overall length of mine is 30.2" but can change depending on muzzle device. With the stock folded about 22". The way it sits without the bipod it weights 8lbs unloaded but can change depending on scope and muzzle device weight.

I have a Pork Sword with a 9" barrel in 300blk that fits nicely inside my 5.11 RUSH24 37L backpack with the stock is folded.

I placed an order for one with a 60 day eta and as of right now I'm on day 72. Last week I moved up to #6 on the wait list.

Why not just purchase a Remington barreled action for half the price and slap that on the Mcmillan stock. Europtic has Remington barreled action in 24" police 5R in a 308 and a 22" SPS 6.5 creedmoor.
