    .308, .300WSM, or 6.5PRC in a shorter (~22”) barrel

300 wsm and run some 165’s or 180 Hammers with a faster powder. Wouldn’t mind having one myself actually.

44.1 is your load. You could play with seating depth but I wouldn’t.

    Short Freebore 7-6.5prc variant

I have a short action and limited to 2.970 magazine length. I want to try a 7-6.5 Prc variant and want to use 150-168 grain bullets. Most of the reamers I’m seeing have a .200+ FB. Does anyone know someone with a shorter freebore reamer so folks can reach the lands and still mag feed without...

    Are Berger bullets really better?

I’ve had guns I wanted to throw away from trying multiple different bullets. Then I run some Bergers through it and it bug holes. Yes they are better. However they’re not always better for each hunting situation even if they shoot better.

    First load development

What bullet, powder and brass. The Dasher is the easiest cartridge to load for in human history.

    Another OCW-ish test…. Thoughts

Try 5,10,15 at 43.7, it’s definitely the node center. I used to shoot 155 scenars with n140 all the time. Your next node should be around 45.0 gr and you should be able to get there with no pressure. Take the best seating depth from your test with 43.7 and shoot 43.7, 44.8,45, and 45.2...

New rifle issues with finding load

Sounds like your brass prep is spot on. However, why did you stop short of 44 grains? Did your reach pressure? There is a well know FTR load for that bullet, brass combo of 46.2gr of Varget with a .090 FB reamer. Ease your load up in .3 gr increments until you see pressure at a .010 jump...

223 and Berger 85.5g LR Hybrid?

It won’t repeat. Take it from somebody that has burned out 4 223 barrels specifically designed for 90 grain Bergers. Heavy 223’s are hard to get consistent. Seating force within several lbs of each other and charge weight to a kernel is a must. If done right you can set a new national record.

FTF Light Primer Strikes. Origin Action/IMI Mk262

Your a got damn genius Gump. Your fucking IQ must be 160. Joking aside, headspace is shorter for these rounds and causing lps. Your assumption was spot on.

    Suppressors Recommend a .375 suppressor

I'm building a .375 Yukon. What suppressor would you recommend? I'm currently looking at an AB-10. Also what mounting system with a brake would work with this?

    Need a tripod recommendation

Just bought a 883 Priminar. Looking to a lightweight tripod to take this backpacking and hunting one day. Not needing anything to support a rifle, just something for sitting/standing and glassing

    super trickler

That was the answer I was going to post to Okran’s bullshit response. He’s a full of shit tool. If you think your scale might be drifting from session to session, put your last charge in a sealed vial and weigh it next time you go to load. If 45 now weighs 44.6, just load 44.6.
