For folks looking for a good fitting soft case for a CZ457 MTR

I got a Blackhawk 44" AR case, and it fits the CZ just right. Fairly cheap, too. Lots of pockets for boxes of 22 ammo, so I can leave the big range bag at home. Available at a few places. Got mine from Midway.

Where can I get a decent winter coat for a budget minded price?

Went to BassPro yesterday, and they had a few nice ones, but I'm always tinkering with old cars, and camping, and Jeepin. If I pay a ton of money for a coat, I feel that much worse when I forget to take it off before crawling under some old greasy car, Jeep, camper..etc. Everything at BassPro...

Some fav travel pics. Utah. Texas. ETC

I just thought I'd share some favorite travel pictures. Discovered I enjoy photography at an age when most folks could retire from a first job, and start a second career. LOL Pics of Hotel Rock in Utah. A Jeep trail on the side of a canyon wall. Snake Man. A deer in the Fish Lake Forest.

I hit the wood lottery on a new CZ457 MTR. (Update) some of today's range day pics.

Picked up an MTR yesterday. (14 Dec) It has some of the nicest wood I've seen on a rifle under a grand. They really choose some cool looking walnut for these things. Looking forward to the arrival of my scope rail, so I can get some range time with it.

Who Likes Jeeps? My Jeep Cherokee Story.

Some time ago, probably 12 years or so, I decided I needed a vehicle better suited to get to campsites, shooting spots, and just having fun. More than the current (at the time) hotrod mustang. So I got a 2001 Jeep XJ and a fistfull of cash for the Cobra. I was happy. I knew up front that the...

2018 Motorcycle crash. Fully recovered. Back in the saddle.

Been away from the hide a while. Doing a lot of traveling, and Jeeping around out in Utah. Back in 2018, I had one hell of a motorcycle crash on my Kawasaki Concours 14. I'm no youngster, so recovery took a while, But recover I did. Back at my usual 60%. Here's some pics of the old scoot after...

Firearms WTS/WTT Remington 700 Barreled action in 308. D prefix, no J Lock (SOLD)

I bought a barreled action about ten years ago with the intent to have a precision rig built from it. Well. Life happened. I figured I may as well sell it to someone who needs it for their build. New pics added today. One of the rifling start in the barrel throat. Still looks pretty sharp...

Put a few miles on My Cocours14 today...a little video

Had a little fun in some mild Southern, Indiana weather today. The route from the Salem, IN airport to, Henryville (Hwy 160), is a great road. If You ever get to ride Your scoot on it, just be careful. There are a few left hand sweepers that start at the top of blind hills. Here is a short vid...

Anyone know much about cloud based e-commerce solutions?

I have a friend that wants to streamline Her webstore, and make it easier to manage. Evidently, this cloud based e-commerce solution is a way to do it. Anyone have any experience I could pass on?

Interesting test of a new airless ATV tire.

Polaris is releasing a new airless ATV tire next year, and I read the article about the testing. This caught My attention. "Engineers shot test tires with 50-caliber rounds from an AK-47 and then subjected them to 5,000 hours of off-roading." Reporters. No matter what they are reporting...

Movie Theater Sherlock Holmes as played by Jeremy Brett

If anyone is a fan of the Sherlock Holmes stories, I highly recommend watching the TV series from the 80s and 90s with Jeremy Brett as Holmes. This fella is Sherlock Holmes. He's not with us anymore, but I would say He was the best Holmes ever.

    Plain old "hunting"rifle

I'm writing down something I've been thinking about all morning. I'd like to take the barreled action I have set aside for a custom rig, and build what I'll refer to as a "hunting" rifle, or in actuality, a stealth precision rifle. Basically, build a rig using top quality components, by a top...

Maggie’s Posting some pictures of a Lady Friend/ great Gal

Way off topic here, but over the past few years, I have inadvertently struck up a friendship with a Lady through a mutual Friend of ours. She blows Me away with Her kindness and wicked sense of humor. She also happens to be, in My opinion at least, one of the most amazingly beautiful women I...

Mulling over paint ideas for the motorcycle.

I never have been really overwhelmed with enthusiasm for the plain silver paint on My bike. Not only is it a little plain, but evidently, it's pretty difficult to see during the morning & evening low light hours. A fella in the Concours Owners Group Photoshopped this. which looks...
