    Gunsmithing Different bedding styles, how do they all work?

    So, i read a lot about different types of bedding (which i really don't know much about, i only have AR precision rifles) and i am curoius to how each works? Like, i know what epoxy bedding is, but how do you "glass bed" or "pillar bed"? Thanks.

    Bottom metal for a savage action?

    I am helping a friend build a savage LR rifle in 7mm RM, and he wants to have detachable mags.... Anyone know of some bottom metal that will work with a savage 116 action? (that is what he has to start with: http://www.savagearms.com/116fcss.htm ) Thanks.
