OK, so having some lube remain in the case neck that is not coming off. I am using standard RCBS lube. Anyone have a method of ensuring all lube, inside and out, is removed prior to priming, powder and seating?
Anyone tried this yet? I have checked the receipies but I have not seen many people do it, especially in a 24" FN SPR (1 in 12). I made a mistake of switching powders but did not switch to 175SMKs. Am I looking at pulling a bunch of bullets? Anyone give confirmation that I should be OK...
OK, got a few for all of you... I have a 5R and a FN A1 SPR both in 308 and both are brand new. The 5R is said to be best at 175gr, and the SPR (also a 24" bbl) is said to be best at 168gr. Can anyone confirm this? I would like to be able to buy bulk ammo, but it sounds like they prefer...
