    Re: Simmons mil-dot scopes i had a simmons atec 6.5x20 on a savge 110 and it was to say the least sub par. i would not buy another one. i never had true tracking out of the scope, ang the glass is exactly what you would expect it would be. just my opinion

    Suppressors rock island 1911 45acp

    Re: rock island 1911 45acp I have a Springfield Armory Champion (shorter barrell, like the colt commander). Probably 1000 or 2000 rounds thru it. It has the heavy barrell, so no barrell bushing. The only trouble i have had is i had to replace the slide stop. But thats it, very satisfied with it.

    Hunting & Fishing Cold weather boot suggestions...

    Re: Cold weather boot suggestions... I bought a pair of Chippewa Artic 50 last year. I use them for farm work and they are comfortable enough to wear anywhere you want. The warmest boots i have ever owned. I believe they were around the $240 range. Not cheap but well worth the $ to me.
