    Anyone lighten the barrel on a MWS?

    DogBone87- You're right, had it done to a DPMS LR 308 with 16" heavy barrel. Adco profiled the barrel behind the gas block to .675 and .750 in front.     Anyone lighten the barrel on a MWS?

    Had adco reduce the diameter of my 16" barrel to .750 front and back of the gas block. Installed a lightweight railed forfend and the weight savings was dramatic. No loss of accuracy either. Highly recommend this to make your .308 more carry friendly.

    Shooting with both eyes open?

    I shoot with both eyes open for less fatige and find that if I rotate the rear lens cap to open to the left it will help with the non dominant eye. Never found much group size difference shooting with one or both eyes open.

    USO's "new" swivel level, is it level?

    I've had several swivel levels that weren't squared to the rail. I leveled the rifle and painted the glass level with black model paint to where the bubble sat. I find the swivel easier to use without lifting my head to see the optic mount version.

    Talk me out of buying an AICS 2.0 for my Rem 700

    Got the 2.0 ACIS and love the folding stock but hate the extra weight. My favorite stock by far is the A4. Great ergonomics for me.
