Modify or trade in?
I currently have a Ruger model 77 mkII in .270, the question is whether I should modify what i have or trade it in towards a different base rifle. I was thinking that if I went the trade route that I would go with a Remington 700 sps varmit in .308. let me know what you guys think.- deputy286

Re: Need help! What to build? I have been told that I would be better off just buying an action and put this together from there. I don't feel that this is worth it since an action is going to run about what i can get a complete rifle for and then shoot it while I save up for the up-grades...- deputy286

Re: Need help! What to build? Thanks for the help. A good friend of mine has converted a 6.5 Mauser. He likes the action and feels that it shoots flatter than a .30 weapon. However I think I am still going to go with a .308.- deputy286
