Re: 6mm AR Turbo There are several 6mm AR shooters over on 65grendel.com. I've heard good things, but no personal experiece. There is also the 6mm RAT which is very similar in performance and both use the Grendel brass.
Re: What's up with McGowen? Not sure if this pertains to your order or not, but they have had to reorder tooling for .264-8 twist rifling. I was told they expect to have new tooling in about 2 months.

Re: Robinson Armament Co XCR??? Bought one over a year ago. Probably my second favorite 223/5.56 next to my SPR. I haven't picked up any of the caliber conversions yet, but if they ever release the 6.5 conversion I may have to give it a shot. They have a 300-500 round break in period...
Re: Why No Factory Rem or Sav rifles in 260? I know the Savage Custom shop will make one. Call Effie if you are interested. I think that Tikka offers their Super Varminter in 260.
Re: DPMS 6.5 Creedmoor Or 260 Remington Upper? There are a couple of reviews out there. Here are two that review the LR-260, LR-260L and Panther 6.5 Creedmoor: http://www.shootingtimes.com/ammunition/st_accuracyaces_200808/...
Re: DPMS 260 Rem??? The early LR-260s had some problems with beating up the brass. If my memory serves me correctly it was extractor marks on the brass. DPMS has made some changes to both the LR-260 and 6.5 Creedmoor offerings changing the twist rate to 8.5 (I believe on both). If you go...
Re: Going 6.5 Grendel... need some input... Lapua 123's won't be an issue. Might be worth looking at 65grendel.com. You will find a ton of useful resources specific to the Grendel. The user JonA and others have reported success with bullets up to 140 grains.
Re: Wotac or SS 10x... I have 3 WOTACs (2) 4-14x and (1) 10x. All work beautifully. I know it's already been said, but Matt at Wonder Optics is great to deal with and while I haven't had any problems he has been prompt at addressing issues that others have had. Great scopes at a great...
Re: Fast Fire, Doctor Optics... type optics? Primary Arms has a T1 sized optic that is considerably more affordable. There may be some reviews out there somewhere. Other options would be one of the Primary Arms M3/M4 styled sights or the Vortex Strikefire. I use a Strikefire and it works...

Re: Going 6.5 Grendel... need some input... If I remember correctly you will likely want a 1:8" twist for those bullets, maybe even a 1:7.5", but here's the kicker. I don't believe those bullets can be loaded to mag length. The other problem you will run into is that the grendel case...
Re: Budget bolt .308, decisions, decisions Cabelas is advertising a Savage 10 with a Choate tactical or Savate 12 Varminter for $649. Remmy SPS Tac is another good option, but the factory stock leaves a bit to be desired. You can pick up a Choate tactical for about 200 delivered or a...
Re: Monopod/Stock opinions for my benchrest Colt AR +1 for the rear bag. The E-2 is a nice alternative to the A2 if you want a change. Add 3/4" to the LOP (I think).
Re: Going 6.5 Grendel... need some input... Punching paper and hitting steel at 800-850 yards can be done with a 14.5" grendel, but I wouldn't try taking any big game at that range with a 6.5G. A 24" build will likely run you 12-13 lbs with optics.
