Aw dam I was just about to order starline 6.5 grendel brass to form into 6arc & was wondering about this very issue 🤦🏽‍♂️ is it preventing the brass from chambering ?

I’m getting an average of 2,765 in a Ruger RPR lapua brass & fed215m primers, I anneal every other load

I get 8 reloads with 90g of H1000 & 300g bergers bumping shoulders no more than .002

Good thing ADG brass has been showing up , all my loads have been with Hornady brass but now I’m gonna start a work up with ADG . Edit ….I think I fucked up 😂 are you guys talking about necking down 300PRC to 7mm? Because my dyslexic brain assumed 7mm PRC 🤦🏽‍♂️ sorry .

My best load is 66g of Reloder 26 with a 180g Eld & Fed 215 primer = 2,990 fps in a factory 26” Rem 700 long range 5 shot groups a hair under 1/2” @ 100yds & between factory ammo out to 2k yds my hand loads shoot better than factory . Hornady brass

I had that exact shitty factory brake on mine & I replaced it with a Terminator T4 Brake .... tamed the recoil waaaay down .

I use Hornady dies to resize my ADG 6.5prc brass & haven’t ran into any problems for my Ruger RPR bumping the shoulders .002” . Since that brass wasn’t fired in your gun are you positive you bumped the shoulders back far enough to fit your chamber ?
